Answer is simple, yes, it helps and it helps a lot. I do not sell anything but I buy my stuff online, well most of them. I spend my extra money mostly to flight simulator products and I’ve been talking to companies in that niche and they constantly keep saying that blogs they have is a major success.
Customers can easily follow news and updates and new upcoming products from the blogs. They leave lot of comments and suggestions to manufacturers.
A simple blog can make a difference between to similar products. One that don’t have a blog MAY get less sales than one who keep updating their product.
A simple non-profitable blog that writes about aeroplanes here have some advertising stuff there too make some manufacturers jumping in their heads. Advertisers have gained their sales very much because of that blog. It’s a win win to keep up a blog in your business.
